Easy but yummy homemade mango pudding

Not sure if you like desert.
But as for me, I am definitely a big dessert fan.
Today I am gonna show you guys how to make an easy pudding at home.
They are simple but yummy!!!

materials:
1.pudding powder
2. canned fruits
3. milk and water

This is the one I bought, mango flavor.
It is not bad, just a little bit too sweet.
(I should have added more milk)

8 oz water

cutie molds!
I use them for making pudding, ice cream, mini tiramisu, etc

16 oz milk
(I think it doesnt matter what kind of milk you choose, either whole milk or 2% is ok)

canned fruits

Steps:

boil the water!!
don't put the powder into the water before the water gets boiled or get hot.
stir the pudding powder with  milk , slowly pour them into the boiling water.
 change to medium heat.
keep cooking and stiring them until the mixtue get even.
( I personally recommend add some vanilla extract)

put it into the molds with canned fruits.
when they cool down, put to the fridge.

final product:
i put some ice and canned fruits around.
taste so yummy!
you can share with family and friends too!

I made some jello also.
They are pretty similar.
the jello is watermelon flavor.
Love it!

this is the advanced level. LOL..
i made 3 layers:
strawberry & lemon & orange

Not sure if you guys like cooking.
I am still wondering what i should post more, food or photography?

shot shot shot !!!

Okay, I admit that the title is just for fun, but I actually shot some photographs last months.
Here are some.

nice sunset in my friend's apartment

some HDR photographs
Mike said HDR is good for shooting the sky, so I was looking forward to the clouds before going out.
haha.

The last photograph: guess how to do it.
Actually I learned that from my friends.
TRY it guys, it was fun!
I drew a small heart shape in a black paper, then cut it off.
What you need is the paper with a "heart hole", not the heart shape part you cut off.
(the heart must be smaller than the aperture of your camera.)
Then place it in front of the camera before shooting.
I used MF and tv mode cause it was night time.
Too bad it was 2am when I took this photograph from the window of my room.
I couldn't find some nice light source. >_<
Those 2 lights are from my neighbor's rooms LOL
Let me try this again this week and I may try other different shapes.
If you guys try it, don't forget to post.
ENJOY~

I am always looking for some interesting ways to shot.
If you have some ideas, share please =p

Homemade takoyaki... (octopus ball)

Does anyone love eating takoyaki? (octopus ball)
I love it so so so much.
But I couldn't find them in houston restaurant. =(
So I decided to make it own using a cake pop machine.
I know it's kinda weird, but it works. XD

materials:
A. 300g low gluten white flour,
B.3g salts,
C. 2 - 3 eggs, (depends on the size of the eggs)
D.octopus (cut it into little pieces),
E. seaweed (shred it),
F. 2 tsp. soy sauce
(or any kind of sauce that u wanna eat with)

oh, recommend a place:
Nippan Raido Japanese Supermarket

I think you can buy a lot of japanese food or snacks there.
I bought the cakepop machine in KOHL's.

Steps:

1. pre heat the cakepop machine,
2. mix ABCD, then pour them to the machine,
3. close the machine around 15-20 seconds (it very depends)
4. open the machine and use a toothpick to roll and turn over the balls until they are done

When they are done:

Time to make fun on them.
XD

forgive my poor drawing.
I just used the paint application provided by the system itself.

YUMMY!
The final look:

Can someone tell me where I can find takoyaki in houston? Like which restaurant?
You know, sometimes I am just too lazy to make. LOL

Falling in love with HDR photographs

These are some HDR photographs I made on Tuesday.
Some were taken in front of the library, some were in front of the fountain, and some were taken on the 8th floor of library. LOL
It was kinda weird when people watch you taking photographs with a tripod in library.
But, anyway, these are some good views.

HDR photographs definitely look more vivid and powerful.
Loving it!

Hey, guys, belated happy luna new year!

3/4 cup glutinous rice flour,
1/4 cup milk or water,

ginger,
brown sugar.

Steps:
Balls:
1. Mix the glutinous rice flour and and milk/water
2. Cut the mixture into little pieces (about 1 inch), then  press it
3. Wrap the fillings you want into the pressed piece
4. Roll it on your palm until it is made like a ball

Sweet soups:
1. Cut the ginger into small thin pieces
2. Slowly put the ginger pieces and brown sugar into water
3. Boil them

When the soup is boiling, slowly put the balls into the soup. Once the balls start floating, it is done.

Hermann Park

In order to finish the DoF assignment of DIGM 2352, I went to Hermann Park yesterday. I think I took almost a hundred photos under the strong sunshine. But I still enjoyed it. The camera I borrowed this time is cannon t4i. I personally like it very much.

I used lightroom to make it look better. (I love lightroom)
Let me post some photos.

shallow DoF

focus on the middleground

deep DoF

focus on the goose
(the grass and water are out of focus)

this one was an accident.
I didn't expect to capture the drops of water.(just becasu the goose moved out. haha)
But it looks good though =)

shallow DoF
focus on the right grass

I love this adorable squirrel.
I took this photo when I was about to leave.
I approached it slowly and quietly =p

I did enjoy this assignment so much =)

(by the way, does anyone know how to delete the history from google reader?
I deleted some old posts already. But google reader still shows those posts
I have no idea how to delete them?
